Fall Registration Extended

Update: 2018 Fall Ball Registration has been extended one week. The start date for the season will also be extended to start Saturday August 18th. This will give teams more time for tryouts, team formation in order to participate in the Fall season. Reminder, we do have multiple teams that have multi sport players and will do our best to accomodate the scheduling conflicts for all teams.

Registration for the 2018 Fall Ball season at 3&2 is now open.

Register using the fall grade your player will be attending.

Individual player registration will be done through the 3&2 web site and is now open. Parents should click on the orange REGISTER NOW button on the front page of the web site and follow the prompts. Player registration and fees are due by Friday, August 3rd.

1622 East 17th Terr

Kansas City, MO  64108

If you have a 3rd or 4th grade (9-10U), come join us for an awesome Sunday morning of sandlot-style baseball.  Our goal is to give recreational players the opportunity to get together and play without the pressures of Coaches and Parents-just to play for the love of the game.  We will have adults on hand, and a group of High School volunteers to help us run the evening.

These events have been very popular over the last two seasons, and regularly fill up within a few days of the invitation

The Particulars:

  1.   This event is limited to 80 players-so sign up early!
  2.   We will play machine pitch baseball
  3.   Teams will play a total of 2 games
  4.  Gatorade / water provided, but please no food on the field.
  5.  Games will be called by the players on the field (there will be High School Umpires there to help if the kids want them).
  6.  Players must have a glove, baseball pants and cups are preferred
  7.  This is a “no parents” and “no coaches” event.
  8.  There are no fees for the day. Donations to the Urban Youth Academy only if you wish

Parents and players arrive.  We would like to chat with the parents as they drop off, and make sure they have all our contact information.  We will need to know who is picking up, etc.

We will talk to the boys about how we are going to play, and then warm up as a group

Play Ball!  We will put the teams together and let them flip a coin for home/away.  Players will decide positions (we will suggest positions if asked)

Hot Dogs / Chips / Water available for the players

12 Noon

Kids get picked up (We need to be out of the facility around 12:30pm).

Come on out to the Urban Youth Academy for some sand-lot style ball, Back Yard Baseball style!

Bandage Drive for Noah's Bandage Project Underway

Team Brings In Most Bandages Wins

So far bandage collections for Noah's Bandage Project have been a little slow, but this league is mighty and just getting started!  Let's clean out Kansas City of cool band-aids for sick kids this weekend.  The team that trucks in the most band-aids wins this awesome gold glove trophy (see photo) and has their team name permanently enscribed on it.  Go win it for Noah!

We'd like to invite all of our 3&2 members past or present to participate so stop by the park and drop in a box of bandaids or if you can't make it to the park, click HERE to make donation.  All proceeds benefit Noah's Bandage Project and its foundation to fight pediatric cancer.

Thanks to so many of you who have donated a little time, money, and/or band-aids for this great charity.  Noah loved and played in this league, and we're honored to honor him and the whole Wilson family this weekend during the playoffs.

Penny Wars for Noah
by posted 07/05/2018

Starting Friday July 5,2018 @ 9 am and ending on Sunday July 8,2018 @ 2pm will be a penny war competition.

How it Works:

Each age group will have a designated bucket, labeled for example “2nd Grade”

Coins will be counted as positive points, for example:

1 Penny = +1 point

1 Nickle = +5 points

1 Dime = +10 points

1 Quarter = +25 points

Use coins to put into your own designated bucket to earn points

Bills will be counted as negative points, for example:

1 Dollar = -100 points

5 Dollars = -500 Points

10 dollars = -1,000 points

20 Dollars = -2,000 points

50 Dollars = -5,000 points

100 Dollars = -10,000 points

Use Bills to put into your opponents bucket(s) to take away their points

A raffle drawing will then take place to determine the individual winner from the winning bucket

** This award is an individual award and will be given to one person from the winning bucket**

In order to get your name in the drawing your designated bucket MUST win and as an individual you must donate at least 1 dollar (whether that be in coins *positive points* or dollars *negative points*)

1 dollar will get your name in the drawing 1 time

5 dollars will get your name in the drawing 2 times

10 dollars will get your name in the drawing 4 times

20 dollars will get your name in the drawing 6 times

50 dollars will get your name in the drawing 8 times

100 dollars will get your name in the drawing 10 times

The winner will receive a rare World Baseball Classic baseball signed by Danny Duffy. It will be announced on Monday July 8th

All of the money will be donated to Noah's Bandage Project
