10AA Tryouts
by Chris on 10/14/2018

The KC Outlaws 10U AA Baseball Club will be hosting a tryout to fill out our Spring 2019 roster.

Wednesday, October 24th, 2018 at Freedom Fields #4 starting at 5:30pm - 7:00pm
Sunday, October 28th, 2018 at Freedom Fields #4 starting 3:00pm - 4:30pm

In the Spring, we will be doing 5-7 tournaments, and 3&2 Metro league games, playing around 30-45 games.

League games are used as a glorified scrimmage, and tournament games are used to go out and win.

KC Outlaws are an independent competitive 10UAA Baseball Team seeking advanced players that want to work hard and have fun. Our coaching staff will develop your son’s skills and fundamentals through an intense focus on skills and repetition. We teach the fundamental breakdown of hitting, fielding, base running, pitching, and mental/game IQ. High focus centered around how to properly perform the little skills that will increase success on the field, as well as teaching players to become men.

Our long term goal is to move to a AAA team in the coming seasons. Outlaw coaches have prior coaching experience. We are also winners of the Sonics Briley Blast Tournament, as well as the T-Bones Sizzler.

Winter Practices will be held at our indoor facility, starting Friday’s in January.

Outdoor practices are held in Olathe and Lenexa with kids from all over the KC Metro currently on the team.

Please contact Chris with any questions at 816-223-9699

13U AAA Strike Zone TABU has one roster spot open for the 2019 Spring/Summer Season.  We start winter workouts in January at the Strike Zone facility in Shawnee.  Plan is to play league at 3&2 and tournaments locally along with a few select travel events.  Focus is to grow each individual as a baseball player, preparing them for High School baseball in a few short years. All positions open, and development will occur at primary and secondary positions. If you would like additional information, contact coach John Goetz at 913.832.5459 or email at johngoetz@twc.com.  If you think this is a good fit for you, it would be great to hear from you, if not, good luck with your upcoming season.

10U AA/AAA DeSoto Bulls
by Marcus Ruiz on 9/3/2018

A successful returning team that will now field 2 teams at different levels.  We are looking to add 2 players to our AAA team that will play in the upper 1st division league for spring/summer.  We will also play 4-6 tournaments and want players that are coachable, love the game and willing to work hard.   Possibility to still join for a couple tournaments this fall as well.

The 2nd team will be less competitive and playing in the 2nd division for the spring/summer league.  This team will also participate in an A tournament.  Kids will have the opportunity to work on their skills and fundamentals in a less competitive setting.  Intersquad practices and scrimmages as well as opportunities for players to move up as they advance.

Both teams goal is simply to have fun and love playing baseball but realizing that players are just at different stages of their skill development.

If interested in joining either team please contact me directly at 913.209.3904 or by email ruiz.a.marcus@gmail.com

11A/AA Team looking for 2-3 players for 2018/19 Season
by John Hofer on 8/19/2018

The Basehor Cubs are looking for 2-3 players for the 2018/19 baseball season, with the intent of playing a 11A / 11AA. The spring/summer schedule will include league at 3&2, and 6 to 8 tournaments, with the possibility of one of those tournaments out of town. We are not a club team, but a competitive local team. Fees are generally less than $400 for each player, and that includes league. Sponsorships and fundraising allow this to be cost affordable. If interested, please call John at 913-908-7460.

Westside Sluggers 13U tryouts
by Steve Elley on 8/5/2018

We are based in Olathe, but have several kids from surrounding areas.  We played last year at the AA level and plan to do the same this upcoming season.  We are planning on playing in 2-3 tournaments this fall and then playing 6-8 tournaments next season along with league play.  For us its simple...have fun, come out ready to go, play hard, and love baseball.
