Defense & Hitting
Areas of emphasis will be defensive positional play, team defense, hitting, bunting, base running & team skills.
Pitching/Hitting Camp
Pitchers will work on fundamentals of throwing and pitching mechanics of the upper and lower body. The Husky pitching philosophy will be introduced. Catchers will learn aspects of receiving, blocking & throwing, along with other aspects of playing the position of catcher.
The Instructor
The camps will be conducted by Varsity Coach Corby Lange along with four of the current coaches and past players.
Where is the camp?
All camp sessions will be located at the Blue Valley Northwest sub-varsity and practice fields. Fields are located behind the school, near tennis courts and practice football fields.
What do I bring to the camp?
Players should bring shoes, bat, gloves and a water bottle. Catching gear will be provided but catchers are welcome to bring their own gear
